25th Anniversary!

When company founder Doug Fairbanks began First Electronics Ltd. 25 years ago, it was a dream come true. He was able to combine his expertise and knowledge of the field, his hunger for learning and introducing new technology and products to his customers, and his “roll up your sleeves” hands on approach to customer service and satisfaction. Anyone who ever had the privilege of meeting him knows exactly what I mean, and will likely never have forgotten him. His untimely death in 1996 marked the end of one phase and the beginning of a new.

His wife Diane Fairbanks, having limited knowledge of the field, yet already very familiar with all the key players over the years stepped in and was determined to carry on Doug’s dream. Having her own strong determination to learn and succeed, she has been able to not only keep the business growing through the ups and downs of the world economy, but continues to search for new and innovative products and ways to keep costs for our customers in check. Along with Ken Jewer doing basically everything and anything, and myself, the company has continued to put quality and service “FIRST”.

It is our pleasure to work with such a great family which includes all of our loyal customers and suppliers, past and present. Thank you all for helping us reach our 25th Anniversary, we look forward to a prosperous and productive future with you all.
